1 What are Library Services Worth to Robins Residents?
by Joe Pearson Assistant Director · Robins | March 9th, 2017

Americans check out more than eight books a year from their local libraries, on average. While Americans spend about $35.81 a year in taxes for their public libraries, in the current contract with the Metro Libraries, Robins residents are paying only about $27 a year - just 80 percent of what Marion, Cedar Rapids, and Hiawatha residents pay for identical services. Find out what your local library is worth to you personally by visiting our value calculator at https://marionpubliclibrary.org/value.
