What are Library Services Worth to Robins Residents? Americans check out more than eight books a year, on average. While Americans spend about $35.81 a year in taxes for their public libraries, in the current contract with the Metro Libraries, Robins residents are paying only about $27 a year - just 80% of what Marion, Cedar Rapids, and Hiawatha residents pay for identical services. Barnes & Noble Book Fair

Wednesday, Dec. 21, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Coloring Clubs

Red or White: What's Your Color? At Ramsey's Wine Bistro, 1st Thursdays from 6:30-8 p.m.

Red, White, or Blue: What's Your Color? At the American Legion, 3rd Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Get your color on at our popular coloring clubs! Come to one or both. All supplies provided and food and beverages are available to purchase.

Genealogy Junkies

Morning Genealogy Junkies meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 10-11:30 a.m.

Evening Genealogy Junkies meet every Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 p.m.

Our Genealogy Junkies groups provide opportunities for anyone interested in genealogy to get together with peers to learn and to share research tips and tricks. Bring a laptop or tablet computer, or check out one of the library's laptops from the Information Desk. Explore our online resources such as, HeritageQuest, and our historical newspapers. Everyone is welcome!

Third Mondays of the month at 10 a.m.

Do you love the old classic movies? Want to share your love with others over coffee and donuts? Join us for Movie Monday: Classics, Coffee & Donuts. On the third Monday morning of each month, we'll show a classic film and provide coffee and donuts.
