Laube's 25 lifts Indians over Clippers
by Brandon Leonard Correspondent · February 16th, 2017

Kayba Laube continued to show why she is not only one of the top freshmen in the state of Iowa, but also one of the top players as well last week in Marion's 84-46 win over Clear Creek-Amana. Laube drained seven three's en route to a 25-point performance to go along with five rebounds.

Laube was joined in double-figures for scoring as Chloe Rice and Camryn Cannoy scored 12 points apiece while her sister, Mia, had 10 points in the blowout win as well. Rice led the charge with eight assists and Randi Wright put together a solid all-around performance with eight points, six rebounds and three blocks.

Marion now plays the waiting game to see who they will play in their regional semifinal game this Saturday in Marion at 7:00 p.m. The WaMaC West Champions will play the winner of Washington and Mount Pleasant, who square off on Wednesday.
