Vernon Middle School students learn of zSpace STEM Lab possibilities
by DJ Kauffman Correspondent · March 16th, 2017

zSpace, Inc. Sales Director Pat Salstrand is pictured manipulating a virtual heart on one of the interactive computer screens in the high-tech zSpace Mobile VR Classroom at the Vernon Middle School on Wednesday, March 8.

Marion Independent School District students visited the bus throughout their day, and they learned about the exciting "all-in-one AR/VR computers with educational software to support the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, as well as art, social studies and CTE/Health Career programs.

"The zSpace STEM Lab is designed for student-centered learning, with teachers in the lab as facilitators. Schools typically engage 2-3 students per zSpace system, resulting in labs with 10 or more zSpace systems." []

zSpace is one educational avenue the MISD is exploring in both computer science and technology advancements.
