Advertisement Traffic safety project conducted

On April 14, 2017, the Linn County Sheriff's Office, along with the Marion Police Department, Mt. Vernon Police Department, and Robins Police Department, worked a multi-agency traffic safety project on Hwy. 13 in Linn County. This project was part of the Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau (GTSB), which provides funding which allows agencies to staff extra deputies/officers to patrol our roadways and enforce traffic laws. The one-day project started at 6 p.m. on April 14 and went until 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 15.
