After a super sophomore season, Marion's Sydney Nielsen was honored by the WaMaC Conference for her efforts on the softball diamond this season. Nielsen was selected to the West Division First Team and was one of four Indians to receive honors from the conference.

Nielsen led Marion in a plethora of offensive categories this season and was a player that opposing pitchers feared. Nielsen had a batting average of .508 while cranking 10 home runs and 48 RBIs as well. In what might be her most impressive feat of the season, Nielsen struck out just twice in her 118 plate appearances.

Maddie Knapp earned Second Team honors after batting .406 with 20 RBIs in her sophomore season, while Karlee Walker and Jordyn Dunn were honorable mention honorees. Walker is wrapping up her freshman campaign while Dunn is finishing her eighth grade year as an Indian.

Benton Community won the WaMaC Division this season with a 13-1 divisional record, 16-2 conference record and a 31-6 overall record. Their head coach Eric Stenberg was named the West Division Coach of the Year.
