Advertisement Positive feedback for L-M bond vote
by Nancy Grindle Correspondent · August 31st, 2017

Presentations have been given in many parts of communities which have students at Linn-Mar schools. In addition to presentations at schools, other organizations have heard about Linn-Mar's hopes for the future of its 10-year plan, including an $80,000,000 bond issue to provide more space and also improvements at existing facilities.

According to Matthew May, Coordinator of Communications/Media, "Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive!"

Groups with whom information is being shared include Kiwanis, the Chamber of Commerce, the Gazette, the L-M Foundation board, MEDCO, Marion Rotary, Marion Legion, and Summit Pointe Senior Living. A variety of school-related activities, such as the recent Drive 4UR School event held last Saturday, have been opportunities to talk with people.

The bond vote will occur on September 12 along with selecting three candidates to become members of the Linn-Mar Board of Directors.
