Advertisement Three re-elected to serve Robins

On Tuesday November 7, 2017, Robins voters re-elected Chuck Hinz as Mayor and re-elected City Councilors Brad Sevcik and Don Norton.

In regards to turnout, out of the 2,540 registered voters in Robins, only 217 - 8.22 percent - voted in the Mayoral race. Out of the 217 voters, Chuck Hinz received 95.39 percent of the votes with 4.61 percent for a write-in. In the Robins Council Member vote, 403 registered voters - 15.27 percent - voted. Of that percentage, Don Norton II and Brad Sevcik were even-keeled in voter turnout at 45.41 percent (183 votes) apiece; leaving only 37 votes for write-in candidates.

The Mayor and City Councilors will begin a four-year term on January 1, 2018. They will serve alongside Robins Council Members Marilyn Cook, Dick Pilcher, and Roger Overbeck. The City of Robins would like to thank Robins residents for exercising your voting rights.
