Paige drops 10 against Wolves
by Brandon Leonard Correspondent · January 4th, 2018

Wells Fargo Arena is a familiar place for Linn-Mar graduate Marcus Paige. The former Lion and University of North Carolina Tar Heel returned there over the weekend with his Greensboro Swarm for a matchup against the Iowa Wolves. The Wolves played spoiler and defended their home court nicely, however, toppling Greensboro with a 95-86 final.

Paige struggled to get much going offensively, scoring 10 points on 4-12 shooting and 1-7 from three-point range. He also finished with five rebounds, three steals and an assist in the loss.

Dwayne Bacon led the charge for the Swarm with 32 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals.

The Swarm currently owns a record of 8-14 overall, sitting in third place in the Southeast Division and in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. They will be back in action on Friday, January 5, at home against the Delaware 87ers.
